Ludovico de Maistre

Ludovico de Maistre is a producer, director and partner at Fargo Film, one of Italy’s historic production companies, through which he can manage any type of audiovisual project and provide full executive production services.

Over the past fifteen years, Ludovico has produced and directed more than 400 documentary and factual titles for broadcasters such as RAI and international distributors.

With Borgo Studios, he develops original IPs specifically conceived to be filmed at Borgo Cornalese, creating stories and films that adapt to the location. When a project aligns with the place and its production ecosystem, Borgo Studios can also enter as a co-producer.

Ludovico’s goal is to attract directors and production companies who want to shoot in Italy while offering creative development, executive production and access to tax incentives and regional funds, all anchored to a unique cinematic location.

Borgo Studios was born from Ludovico’s vision to turn his family estate into a modern backlot and production village. Today, he leads the company’s creative and strategic development, overseeing projects from concept to production and positioning Borgo Cornalese as one of the most versatile cinematic locations in Northern Italy.
